  We enjoyed our stay at the Pearl of the Cape. The views are spectacular. The house is well maintained. Kitchen has all the pots, pans and utensils for cooking. Love the grill. We used it a few nights. The house itself is quite comfortable. It's a short drive to Cannon Beach and also Manzinita. My son loved the beach especially the tide pools. He woul
  d watch out the window each morning and say, go to beach. We love the fact that it was beach front. Thanks for a lovely place to spend our vacation.

  What a great place to hunker down with the kids and watch the waves. We were toasty warm and cozy on the big couch, and enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and comfy beds. In-laws slept in the studio, which they enjoyed. House could use a bit of updating here and there, but very charming and clean. Beach a bit more rocky at this spot then we anticipated, but with all the bad weather we didn't much care.

  We had excellent weather and a good time. The house was very adequate and location was perfect.We did note that over the week the beach deteriorated with more small rocks exposed but that sounds like a normal fall/winter transition for this beach. Nice place...clean...good customer service.

  Should not be listed as fenced. I knew the front was open but assumed there would be gates to close off the stairs instead there is easy access to both neighbor's yards. Beautiful location. Kitchen convenient and well stocked.

  Our econd stay at The Pearl. We love Arch Cape and the way it accommodates our large family (24) with multiple, close homes. The 3 beds/3 baths set up is very nice, tho' the baths are small. Needs a new can opener; otherwise a very nice kitchen.

  Great location and the windows looking out to the ocean are incredible. Kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. All of the TVs are very small so watching a movie by the ocean on a rainy day is not great but on the sunny days you don't need the TV any way! Definitely would recommend this for anyone. We had 4 adults and a 1 year old and were very comfortable.

  We loved the location of this house and the view from the great room. The house had every amenity needed for a beach stay. The actual beach was a little too rocky for our arthritic lab however! Other than that ,our stay was great and would definitely recommend to friends!

  We had a great vacation in this home, and plan to come back next year. The view & location can't be beat. Everything is well maintained, and all the necessities were included - lots of towels, dishes/pots/pans/kitchen utensils, free wifi, etc.. The living area was huge, so my whole family fit comfortably. The beds were *so* comfortable, which I really appreciated.
  The only (minor) things that we didn't love about the house was that the 3rd bedroom is not connected to the main house and it is a little annoying to have to go outside to get to it. Also, there is a strip of rocks between the house and the beach which are bothersome to climb over, and make the beach a little smaller so you don't really have any dry sand (and no sand at all when the tide comes in).

  Our family came down for the week with my parents. The little house in back was great for them to get away from our noisy group if they wanted. We also have a small dog that was happy she got to come so many houses don't allow them. My teenage kid love the beach and at this house it was easy to see where they were.   Very comfortable house. It was a bit odd to have the bathrooms in the bedrooms but it worked out okay. I would have like to have had a surf light like the neighbors, it's nice to watch the waves at night. The studio was nice for additional privacy but needed to be aired out prior to sleeping in there. It doesn't seem to get much ventilation. All very minor issues and we look forward to a return trip to Pearl of the Cape.

  Many people new to the Oregon Coast are not aware that Arch Cape is the beach where the cannons from the USS Shark shipwreck of 1846 washed up, and the namesake for Cannon Beach. In fact from the front yard of “The Pearl of The Cape” you can see Haystack Rock in the distance. More important, a rock just yards from this house has lots of tidepools and surprises to explore at low tide. The real secret is that the north end of Arch Cape beach, where this wonderful home sits, is very private. It is a very long walk from the nearest public access at Hug Point or the South end of Arch Cape. This provides you with a stretch of beach only occupied by the local residents. Bring your groceries, you won’t want to leave this house for dinner – million dollar views wait for you!
  
  We have rented more than one home in the area, and this one is fully appointed, recently remodeled kitchen, and the tinted windows that face the beach and sun keep the front of the house cool on the warmest days. A separate one-bedroom unit in the back of the house gives that one couple or person a little special privacy when the whole family or group occupies the main house. This is not just a rental home – it was built as a year-round residence, and makes for plenty of room for everyone. The beach is accessed by a stairwell shared with the neighbor or a private “community” walkway at beach level just a few doors down the street.
  
  In our opinion this street is one of the best places to stay in the greater Cannon Beach area, and this home is right ON the beach. You will relax and spend many hours just staring out the window, watching the tide, the weather, and the sunsets.

  This house is very well kept - you will find it very hard to leave when your stay is over. Right on the beach, so if the weather is bad you can stay inside and watch the show. Private stretch of Arch Cape south of Cannon Beach, over 1 mile from any public beach access - but you are just a few steps away. Two bedrooms in house and one in separate building for privacy. Each bedroom has private bathroom. Remodeled kitchen with new appliances. Minutes away from dining in Cannon Beach, but you will want to use the kitchen and eat in with the million-dollar view.

  I have been visiting Arch Cape for over 45 years - starting in the 1960's when my grandmother lived there, we visited often in the summer and stayed for week and never wanted to go home. Not much has changed - still very quiet, great for family escapes. This beach-front house is on the north end of Arch Cape, over a mile away of any public access, so only the residents are on the beach. The home is so comfortable (with a brand new kitchen) that you will want to eat in as much as possible, and to enjoy the unobstructed views of pacific waves crashing on the beach at sunset from the dinning room table. If you want dining opportunities there are several excellent restaurants just minutes away in Cannon Beach. The property manager takes great care of this home, very clean with everything you need for when the weather keeps you in from cable TV, DVD, VCR's in every bedroom and a wood fireplace. The main house has two bedrooms each with its own bathroom. A separate, private bedroom and 3/4 bath is along the side of the house. Walk down steps to the beach from the front yard, or a community (private) access without steps is just four doors down the private street. Arch Cape beach has very little sand in the winter months, so not much access at high tide.

  You will definitely know you are at the beach with 3 big picture windows on to a pristine and un-crowded beach just steps outside the door. Room to walk, large rock and sea life to explore at low tide, great kite-flying beach, and very private and quiet. For someone looking for a little more excitement, the beautiful small town or Cannon Beach is just 15 - 20 minutes away. The house has room to move around in. The only down-side is that the bathrooms are a bit small, but that isn't where we spent our time, so it wasn't really an issue.
  I would dearly love to go back to this house someday.
