The cottage was wonderful and the location great. I was a little unclear that this was not actually in Arch Cape initially, but after renting the place you explained this to me. not knowing this beach, I didn't know the beach is fairly rocky. In the future, we'll probably plan to stay on the Arch cape beach, but might come back to this property because of the view and comfort. thanks for a wonderful trip.
Great views, nice accommodations, very comfortable. Things to think about: no bathtub (difficult to bathe babies), bathrooms only downstairs, rocky edge of beach can be treacherous to get down. But we really enjoyed it and would definitely use the place again.
Beautiful setting with spectacular views of the ocean. Lots of space, with one bedroom, two bathrooms on the ground floor. Upstairs (loft-style) bedrooms more suitable for children than adults (accessible via spiral staircase--'could be a "luggage" issue). Fabulous deck!!
Really lovely! Too pricey for us to come back as often as we'd like, but worth the splurge for a very special occasion.

My entire family loved our week at Cove Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and convenient. There was lots to see and do and plenty of nearby activities as well. We loved the tidepools and also that the beach was so uncrowded. The weather was beautiful and our only regret was leaving.
This home is lovely; it is simple yet agreeable in its modernness, well-cared for, and comfortable for the whole family. Pleasingly harmonious in all ways.

Well appointed home was a perfect family gathering place. Three generations had a wonderful time in spite of the wild winter weather.
There is a great view of the ocean from the living room of this house. The house was very cozy and comfortable.
We stayed at Cove Cottage for 3 days in October...even though it was rainy, we had a wonderful time enjoying the ocean view through the big windows and using the spotting scope to look at birds, playing games from the game shelf, reading books from the bookshelf, and cooking. The house is older, but has many updated touches throughout (note, there is no bathtub--just two showers). Our toddler loved cruising around the huge living room area. The beach is a short walk away--too rocky to enjoy walking at high tide, but sandy at low tide and we only saw a few other people. Cannon Beach and Seaside are a short drive away if you want more "action", but we spent as much time as we could just relaxing at the house!
Cove Cottage was a dream come true! The location was perfect, the cottage lovely. It was exactly what we had hoped for.
Wait, never mind, we hated it!I'm SOOOOOOO tempted to write a bad review in order to keep this gem and Arch Cape to ourselves.Really,I can't thank you enough for 5 wonderful days in a perfect place to relax and renew.
There is not much more to say than what a beautiful place to get away, enjoy the coast and have some peace of mind. We intend to return to Arch Cape as soon as we can!
Nice and clean, with no clutter. Kitchen was great to cook in, and the view was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!

The only negative comment I would make regards firewood -- we did not have a good supply of firewood. The view, house itself, and amenities were great. Thanks also for providing amazing weather!!
Best things: most amazing view ever - between the windows and the deck, the view of the ocean was always present! The fireplace with unlimited wood was a bonus, and liked the simple furniture and swing chair. The slight drawback: the two bedrooms upstairs were so tiny, hard to move around in them! (also, we were sent the wrong check-in info, so spent a long time trying to figure out how to get in the house - finally reached the office and was told we needed to pick the key up. So wasted an hour of sunset time working with check-in mis-information and then driving back to the office...)Overall, a great experience and would definitely book this house again!
