This is a great beach house and we had a lot of fun here. I wish I had known that the third bedroom is actually an "in-law" unit with a separate entrance than the main house. Even though it's all connected and under one roof, it was tricky with little kids. Would be perfect for teenagers or grandparents or a small family traveling together. Beach is very large rocks with little to no sand depending on the tides.
Please consider adding one hair dryer. A wall mounted one would ensure that guests don't bring it home with them.
Our family stayed at Bear's Head for almost a week in late June. The location and view's were stunning! The house itself was great for our small children and for entertaining some friends who came down from Seattle to join us. It is just far enough from Cannon Beach to feel secluded and close enough to make it convenient.
Great arrangement for two families traveling together. The pictures don't do the place justice. We were wowed the moment we stepped into the house, and the wall of windows at the back of the house had the best ocean view ever. Would definately rent again if visiting the Oregon Coast.
Bear head is located on secluded cove beach. Although the beach is rocky and is not really great for does make a wonderful noise as the cobbles are rearranged by the waves. The management staff were great and made us feel completely at home during our stay.Can't wait to return!
Really enjoyed the stay here - the location and facilities are tremendous - we saw whales whilst cooking in the kitchen! What more could you want?

We are a group of friends that have been staying on the Oregon Coast for the past 11 years.We take turns finding a house to accomadate us all. This year was our turn and we really picked a winner. The view was outrageous and the house had everything we could ask for. We would definitely rent this house again. Wish we were there right now!
This house was absolutely beautiful. The views were breathtaking, soothing and spectacular.
The bed in the blue moon and stars bebdroom should probably be replaced. It gave us all back pain.

Bear's Head was a clean, lovely home perched over a small cliff along a secluded stretch of beach. We had a great time watching the sunset over the ocean from the deck and would like to return.
This home is exactly that, a warm and comfortable home away from home.A fabulous kitchen/great room that became the center of our stay provided a warm and comfortable ambiance. Cooking, watching the surf and sitting before the warming fire became our pass times. Gentle classical music filtered through the air from a wonderful stereo that truly added to this positive experience. In fact, this could become a habit if I am not careful… I want to thank you Debbie and Betty for your wonderful help and kind assistance. Your personable and caring attitudes are the primary reason I return to Arch Cape Property Services year after year. The fact that you both have been recommending Bear’s Head to me for a couple of years now finally sinks in, you just wanted to place the people (me) with the house (Bear’s Head) knowing my preferences. We had a lovely, relaxing time at Bear's Head. The home has an expansive open living/dining/kitchen area with spectacular views of the wild winter ocean. Erosion on tne beachfront may threaten the property in 10 years or so, so head down there asap for a relaxing retreat with spectacular views.
The pictures do not do this house justice. It is right on a cliff above the water! Amazing views, great access to local area & best of all, my T-Mobile did not work there at all! (But don't let that sway you, as my phone is old & T-Mobile stinks) I cannot say enough good things about it! The highlight of our trip to say the least!
